Ben Kenward's science

Because of the imminence of global ecological and climate collapse, I have mainly refocussed my research efforts into environmental psyschology, for example examining environmental activism. I reflect here on how my own activism and my scientific research are related.

I also have interests in the social and cognitive development of young children. There are further details of my research interests in my academic CV.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

Until 2016 I was a Researcher at Uppsala University's Child and Baby Lab in Sweden.

In 2005 I completed a PhD at Oxford University's Behavioural Ecology Research Group, in which I studied the ontogeny of tool use in New Caledonian crows.
