My interests are primarily in the social and cognitive development of young children. There are further details of my research interests in my academic CV.
As of 2016 I am a Lecturer in Psychology at Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
I was previously a Researcher at Uppsala University's Child and Baby Lab in Sweden, and retain a connection there as Guest Researcher.
In 2005 I completed a PhD at Oxford University's Behavioural Ecology Research Group, in which I studied the ontogeny of tool use in New Caledonian crows.
I am also a member of the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists.
